I have a small (but awesome) list of friends right now. I know some of you very well, and I really enjoy that. Not that I am against newcomes--I, in fact, welcome new comers. Send me a friend request, send me a message, chat me up. I'm sure we'll be fast friends. That, in a nutshell, is why I'm doing this.
Also, my LJ has become my new tumblr (i.e., I am spending all my time on it and I'm addicted to it), but LJ is better. Not only does it keep me productive, and introduce me to all you fine people, it can also keep me very private if I would wish to. I liked the anonymity of tumblr before, but now I'm seeing that I also like to be myself... Just not in public view of the entire internet. So LJ it is, and a big YES for private LJ.
Bottom line: If you wanna be friends, read my stuff, or just weirdly lurk on my page and never talk to me: send me a friend request. I can gaurantee that I will accept.

I've had a tumblr for about 2 years. I took a break around the middle of the school year this last year because my work was literally suffering because I spent so many hours on it. While I was on hiatus there, I met Kim through FFN, honestly one of the best things that's ever happened to me, because not only did I meet her, but by extension I met all of you and got sucked into LJ. I was really hesitant to use it at first because A) it made no sense and B) I preferred FFN.
But now I prefer LJ over everything. And that's good--because LJ is honestly the best place. (You know my axe to grind about the word count, but that can be overlooked… Until it comes and bites me in the ass again.) It's really my only problem with LJ.
Tumblr can make me quite sad sometimes--but it's also a nice place to be. It was great for me, because until I discovered it, I never knew that people obsessed over things the way I did. I was always the weird kid who got too invested in TV shows, who wrote down any funny or meaningful quote in a movie or show, who listened to the same songs over and over again and felt stupid grins come on her face when her favorite characters exchanged a look or a smile. Tumblr was great for that, to show me that all that and more is a normal thing. And I've made some awesome friends on tumblr, some real friends that I love.
That's why I hate using it less and less and that's why I can't think of deleting it. I'm just letting it sit, updating every once in a while, but I'm never on. LJ, on the other hand, I'm on all the time. Refresh, refresh, refresh… Nothing changes much, but I still love it.
....Sorry for the super-long reply. Didn't really have to write that much, but oh well, here we are.
And thank you! I'm really glad you like the theme; I do too! (Although I'm really annoyed it doesn't have the specified options for comments--bolding, italicizing, etc--that one of my other themes did. I loved that.)
And, YES, of course you're in the cool crowd! XD ...Though maybe not for just the reason of being on *my* flist haha

And I am so, so happy you love my stories. But all the writers on my flist are ah-mazinggg too. Usually much more so than me :)

Sorry to hear my current stuff isn't what you like to read... I'll be stuck on them for a while. If I think of any good smutty one-shots, I will definitely post them, but right now all my smut fits into their respective stories :)
